Community Connection: FIC’s Home Distributor for Quezon City

With our home distributors, anything is popsicle. Hailing from Acropolis, Bagumbayan, Natasha Uichico is a self-proclaimed sweet tooth and delivers delight to our Quezon City customers in the form of your favorite ice cream flavors. A seasoned home distributor since 2018, we wanted to know more about Natasha’s experiences. Here’s what she had to say:

Can you tell us what led you to join our community of home distributors?

The opportunity presented itself years ago when I started university. My mom was offered to be a distributor in my community, and being a go-with-the-flow Pisces, I accepted the offer on her behalf. I continued because during the lockdown, FIC changed from being a “nice to have” to a “need to have” in the community, and I was happy to be able to deliver. I love being helpful and making others happy, especially those close to home (pun intended).

What’s the best selling flavor in your area?

The best-selling flavors in my area are definitely all the No Sugar Added flavors, which are well-loved by the titas and titos of Manila! Cafe Latte and Belgian Chocolate are especially popular.

Tell us more about your experience with your customers. What’s that exchange like?

Being in client servicing for my regular job has taught me that any project should go beyond the transaction towards something more like a long-term partnership. I brought the same approach to my FIC customers; I often engage with them because I want them to be sincerely happy and not merely satisfied.

Do you have loyal customers? If so, why do you think they love FIC?

My customer profiles range from the titas and titos of Manila to little ice cream lovers (kiddies). The variety of flavors and sizes that we carry addresses every customer’s different needs, whether it’s a sudden craving, a dinner party, or even daily dessert.

What’s your personal take on ice cream in general? What does it mean to you?
For me, ice cream is the ultimate comfort food or snack. Because no one would want to eat melted ice cream, it’s crucial to really savor the moment as you’re devouring that scoop (or two!).
